Equipment & inventory
Laboratory Management
Keeping equipment, borrowing, and maintenance connected—from the lab floor to the office.
01 / Context
The problem
Equipment records need to remain useful beyond a spreadsheet: staff need to find items, follow borrowing activity, and keep track of maintenance.
02 / My contribution
What I built
I built equipment and laboratory workflows, including borrowing, maintenance, reporting, and an offline inventory workspace.
- Equipment records and QR identification
- Borrowing and maintenance workflows
- Offline inventory sessions and synchronization
- Inventory and maintenance reports

Technical decisions
Inventory work beyond the desk
An IndexedDB-backed inventory workflow supports local capture, while dedicated sync and status endpoints connect sessions back to the server.
Structured records and shared access
The current application uses MySQL with Drizzle and Better Auth. Equipment, borrowing, and maintenance have dedicated routes and report endpoints.
Project notes
This is an internal system. Workflow illustrations replace operational screenshots to keep institutional records private.
